Allgemeine Informationen

Mickey Keller & The Spitfires

Sparte: RocknRoll, Rockabilly, Hillbilly Bop, 1950s Rhythm & Blues, Country, Blues

„Mickey Keller and the Spitfires playing in an authentic and raw 1950s Rockabilly style. Two guitars and a thumpin & slappin doghouse bass, deeply rooted in the rockin Hillbilly Bop sound of the early to mid 1950s. Bassman Mickey Keller (ex Eddie & The Backfires and Randy Rich & The Poorboys) leads the band with his distinctive voice and skillful bass playing. He is accompanied by the brilliant lead guitarist Matze (ex Bird Doggin Daddies and Sandy Lane & The Headlights) and the strong rhythm guitar playing by Frank (DJ Stompin Wolfman). All band members have been on the rockin scene for ages and have developed their own brand of authentic rockin Hillbilly Bop. 1950s Rockabilly sadly seems to be a rarity on todays rockin scene but bands like Mickey Keller and the Spitfires are keeping it alive n kicking. Keep on rockin!"
